Audionet / ART G3 with EPX Power Supply

Photograph 1 of 8
Offered for sale is an Audionet ART G3 CD player and DAC with the EPX external precision power supply. For the listener with a serious CD collection, this is a source combination built around extracting the musical substance, spatial information, and dynamic life already captured on the discs. The EPX is included in this offering—not simply a future upgrade possibility.
The top-loading ART G3 combines a substantial granite-based chassis with Audionet’s Aligned Resonance Technology, a Philips CD-Pro 2LF transport, dual-mono D/A conversion, and balanced XLR and unbalanced RCA analog outputs. Optical and combined USB-Audio/S/PDIF input functionality also allow its converter section to serve external digital sources. The matching EPX provides precision external power for compatible circuitry, using two 200 VA toroidal transformers and 576,000 µF of filter capacitance.
Marius Donadello reviewed the exact ART G3 and EPX combination for AV-Magazin, describing gains in spatial illumination, dynamics, and tonal differentiation. His response went beyond individual sonic attributes: “So close to the essence of music, as I have never experienced with CDs.” — Marius Donadello, AV-Magazin; translated from German. His conclusion was equally direct: “The EPX rewrites the story of this exceptional CD player.” — Marius Donadello, AV-Magazin; translated from German.
GTT is the North American distributor for Audionet, and this pairing reflects the brand’s serious approach to source engineering: mechanical stability, carefully executed conversion, and precision power delivery working together. For an enthusiast who values the simplicity of playing a disc and wants a deeply revealing source for a substantial CD library, the ART G3 with EPX is a compelling combination.
