This is a true four-way, five-driver loudspeaker—not a scaled-down two-way wearing an exotic cabinet. Vivid’s in-house D26 tweeter and D50 upper-midrange driver use tapered-tube loading, joined by a dedicated lower-midrange driver and twin opposed bass drivers. The glass-reinforced, balsa-cored composite enclosure and carbon-fibre base form an exceptionally purposeful design, with those flowing curves serving the acoustics as well as the eye.
