YG Acoustics / Kipod II Signature

Offered for sale is a pair of YG Acoustics Kipod II Signature loudspeakers in the active-bass configuration. This is the complete two-module design, combining the main module with a separately powered bass module. It brings YG’s attention to resolution, imaging, and driver integration to a relatively compact floorstanding loudspeaker.

The aluminum enclosures and in-house-machined aluminum driver cones reflect YG’s approach to rigidity and resonance control. In the active-bass configuration, each bass module has its own amplifier, with controls for adjusting the bass presentation to the system and room. The main modules still require an external power amplifier: this is a semi-active design, not a speaker that eliminates the need for amplification altogether.
