GTT Perspective · Audionet

The Scientist Series, distilled.

Mach and Schrödinger are Audionet's ultra-reference linestage and monoblock — the Scientist Series engineering of Stern and Heisenberg, distilled into a pair for a wider range of serious systems.

Why this pair matters

Audionet positions Mach as Stern's smaller sibling and Schrödinger as Heisenberg's, and that is the honest way to understand the pair. The engineering language is the same — the floating-pane chassis, the dual-mono layout, the isolation, the real-time linearization — scaled to a system that does not require the statement models.

What matters to us is how completely the shared architecture carries over. We evaluate the result the way we evaluate everything — in a complete system, in our Private Listening Room.

We distribute Audionet in North America because this is engineering we can stand behind. Mach and Schrödinger let us build that standard into a wider range of serious systems.

What the engineering actually does

01

Shared discrete modules

Mach uses the enhanced discrete Audionet op-amp modules derived from Stern in its input, output, and volume stages, with a precision-resistor volume network linearized in real time.

02

The same chassis thinking

Both use the Floating Pane chassis, dual-mono circuit and power-supply layout, and a DC-coupled signal path — the approach developed for the statement models.

03

Isolated, real-time linearity

Schrödinger is a true mono construction with galvanically isolated analog circuits and Audionet's ULA real-time linearization, on gold-plated copper rails.

Questions we hear in the listening room

How close do Mach and Schrödinger get to Stern and Heisenberg?

They share the Scientist Series architecture — floating-pane chassis, dual-mono layout, discrete Audionet modules, ULA linearization. Which of the two pairs suits a system is a complete-system question we would rather answer in our Private Listening Room than on a chart.

What loudspeakers do they suit?

Loads that benefit from current and control — Schrödinger doubles its output as impedance halves. In our experience they hold their composure as the load gets more demanding; your loudspeakers are part of the conversation at a Private Audition.

Is there a house sound?

Audionet's design intent is that there shouldn't be one: nothing ferro-magnetic in the signal path, opto-isolated control, real-time linearization — the engineering removes the mechanisms by which amplifiers impose a signature.
