GTT Perspective · Kronos Audio
Two platters. Two tonearms. One reference.
Discovery is Kronos Audio's flagship two-tonearm turntable — the counter-rotating platter architecture carried to its fullest, on a new exo-skeleton chassis.

Why two tonearms, at this level
With a turntable at this level, the question is no longer whether it can hold speed or reject vibration — it is how completely it can disappear. Discovery is Kronos's answer: the counter-rotating architecture carried to its fullest, on a new exo-skeleton chassis with a rethought coupling to the suspension.
Two tonearms let a collection run a mono arm and a stereo arm, or two stereo cartridges of different character, each mounted and aligned permanently — the record chooses the arm, not the other way around.
We distribute Kronos Audio in North America because this is engineering we can stand behind and demonstrate. Discovery rewards a long listen in a quiet room.
What the engineering actually does
A new exo-skeleton chassis
Discovery introduces an exo-skeleton chassis with a revised soft-clamping suspension interface, designed to reduce stored energy and isolate the playback system.
The counter-rotating family, full strength
Dual counter-rotating platters with an isolated external drive, closed-loop control at sixty corrections per rotation, ceramic-ball inverted bearings, and a 317-O-ring floating suspension.
Built for two arms
Discovery carries two 9- to 12-inch tonearms so each can be optimized for its cartridge and purpose.

Questions we hear in the listening room
Why two tonearms on one turntable?
Two arms allow a mono and a stereo setup, or two stereo cartridges of different character, each mounted and aligned permanently. No removable headshells, no re-alignment between records.
What is the exo-skeleton for?
Isolation. The chassis couples to the suspension through soft clamping rather than a rigid frame. Kronos's design intent is to reduce the structure-borne energy that reaches the stylus — the engineering that keeps a table of this mass composed in a real room.
How is a Discovery commissioned?
By GTT. A Discovery is a 120-pound instrument with a dedicated supply and, optionally, the SCPS-D. We handle placement, arm and cartridge mounting, and setup as part of commissioning — the table is installed and set up in your room.
