Why GTT listens to the complete loom
A cable is rarely heard in isolation. Source, signal, loudspeaker, digital, data, and power connections form a network whose individual choices can either support one another or pull the system in different directions. GTT therefore evaluates Kubala-Sosna as a complete loom, with the same design priorities carried through the full signal and power path.
Ovation is the latest step in a deliberate lineage—Emotion, Elation, Realization, then Ovation—developed across twenty-two years. Kubala-Sosna describes the new line as an eight-year OptimiZ4 program that preserves the principles behind its two United States patents while changing conductor stranding and geometry.
That continuity matters in the listening room. Rather than treating cables as accessories added after a system is assembled, GTT considers the loom part of system matching: one of the relationships that allows the source, electronics, and loudspeakers to behave as a whole.
