GTT Perspective · Kubala-Sosna
The cable loom, treated as one system.
Ovation is Kubala-Sosna’s OptimiZ4 flagship: a complete cable architecture developed over eight years and intended to preserve one coherent path from source to loudspeaker.

Why GTT listens to the complete loom
A cable is rarely heard in isolation. Source, signal, loudspeaker, digital, data, and power connections form a network whose individual choices can either support one another or pull the system in different directions. GTT therefore evaluates Kubala-Sosna as a complete loom, with the same design priorities carried through the full signal and power path.
Ovation is the latest step in a deliberate lineage—Emotion, Elation, Realization, then Ovation—developed across twenty-two years. Kubala-Sosna describes the new line as an eight-year OptimiZ4 program that preserves the principles behind its two United States patents while changing conductor stranding and geometry.
That continuity matters in the listening room. Rather than treating cables as accessories added after a system is assembled, GTT considers the loom part of system matching: one of the relationships that allows the source, electronics, and loudspeakers to behave as a whole.
A complete architecture, not a collection of parts
Eight years of OptimiZ4 development
Kubala-Sosna identifies Ovation as the result of eight years of research and testing under its fourth-generation OptimiZ architecture.
Patented principles, revised geometry
Kubala-Sosna states that Ovation retains the principles of its two United States patents while introducing significant changes to conductor stranding and cable geometry.
One line across the system
Ovation is offered across analog, digital, data, loudspeaker, and power applications so the same design approach can be maintained through a complete system.

Questions we hear in the listening room
Why audition a complete cable loom?
Because every connection participates in the same system. A complete loom lets the listener evaluate one coherent design approach across signal, loudspeaker, digital, data, and power paths instead of hearing several unrelated cable priorities at once.
Where does Ovation sit in the Kubala-Sosna line?
Ovation is the current flagship. It follows Emotion, Elation, and Realization in Kubala-Sosna’s twenty-two-year development lineage.
