Audionet
Serious German engineering that preserves the source, controls the loudspeaker, and lets the recording determine the experience.
GTT’s Perspective →The GTT Portfolio
Since 1995 I have thought about this the same way. GTT is not a brand collection, and it has never tried to be something for everybody. Every manufacturer here is one I chose myself, after listening, because I believed in what it does for the music.
Here is what I listen for. I listen to music as a whole. Would it sound like this at Carnegie Hall, at the Musikverein, at the Concertgebouw? Do instruments sound like instruments? Is it linear from top to bottom, with full resolution from top to bottom? Does it hold together as one performance, or come apart into sections? Naturalness and realism are what I am after. What all of us want is for the system to fool us — to believe we are at the venue, and that the players are there for us. When a component gets me closer to that, I believe in it. When it does not, no amount of reputation gets it in.
Watch: How to Listen and What to Listen For — Episode 86
Each company here has its own answer to the problem of reproducing music, each is open about what that answer is, and each engineers to a standard that keeps its products relevant for years. You are not buying into next season’s model. You are buying something built to be lived with.
The industry has not stood still, and neither have I. New thinking keeps arriving, and part of the work is telling a real advance from something that only sounds new. When something genuinely moves the performance forward, you will find it here.
I am not out bargain hunting. I choose equipment for how it sounds and how it performs, and sometimes that is the most expensive thing in the room. It can still be a value. But in the high end, more often than not, the most expensive is not the best sounding. The value I bring is in choosing the right components, knowing how to make them work together, and guiding you through it. I do this every day. Those years of listening sit behind every choice I make, and they are yours to draw on.
None of this is really about equipment. I love the equipment, and anyone who tells you the hardware is not part of the pleasure is not being straight with you. But it is a tool. What it is for is the heart and soul of the music. GTT is for the music connoisseur, for the person who absolutely loves music.

Distribution & Retail
As a distributor, we work directly with the manufacturers we represent, and our team supports a network of carefully chosen dealers. As a retailer, we work with you on your own system, from a private audition through installation and setup.
Our retail portfolio also includes selected manufacturers beyond the lines we distribute. Kubala-Sosna sits in both: we distribute the company in Canada and represent it at retail in the United States.
The roles are different. The standard is the same: I choose by ear and think in whole systems. We support what we sell.
We represent a selected group of manufacturers and support the carefully chosen dealers who demonstrate, install, and service their products.
We work with you directly, from choosing and hearing components through installation, setup, and continuing support.

Electronics & digital playback
Serious German engineering that preserves the source, controls the loudspeaker, and lets the recording determine the experience.
GTT’s Perspective →
Digital infrastructure & source optimization
A thorough approach to the noise, timing, power, and network conditions that shape reference digital playback.
GTT’s Perspective →
Analog playback
A coherent analog platform whose counter-rotating architecture solves a real mechanical problem and preserves musical timing.
GTT’s Perspective →
Cables & system connections
Cables engineered as a complete architecture and proven by listening — the loom beneath GTT’s own reference systems.
GTT’s Perspective →
Digital conversion, clocking, music servers, and line-level control
A complete digital platform built from the ground up around true one-bit conversion, precise timing, and power design that keeps the music continuous and natural.
GTT’s Perspective →
Electronics & digital conversion
Reference-level engineering in elegant, compact forms that reveal music with precision, naturalness, and very little editorializing.
GTT’s Perspective →
Tube & hybrid electronics
A mature use of tube and solid-state virtues that joins texture and dimensionality with authority and low-frequency control.
GTT’s Perspective →
Loudspeakers
Original loudspeaker engineering that removes stored energy and coloration so the performance, not the enclosure, commands attention.
GTT’s Perspective →The complete retail portfolio
Alongside the manufacturers we distribute, we offer a small number of other lines. I chose them the same way: engineering that holds up, performance that serves the music, and a company that stands behind what it builds.
Whether it is one component or a complete system, tell us what you are trying to do.
GTT NORTH AMERICAN DISTRIBUTION & RETAILWe distribute Audionet, Kronos Audio, Master Fidelity, Mola Mola, TLA — True Life Audio, and Vivid Audio across North America through carefully selected dealers. We sell these lines directly in territories without an authorized dealer.
GTT WORLDWIDE DISTRIBUTION & RETAILWe distribute DeJitter It worldwide and sell it directly.
CANADA DISTRIBUTION · U.S. RETAILWe distribute Kubala-Sosna in Canada and offer it at retail in the United States.
GTT RETAILWe also chose lines outside our distribution portfolio and sell them directly.

GTT’s Perspective →Complete-system judgment
We judge every component as part of a whole: the source, the electronics, the loudspeakers, the room, and the music you actually listen to. Choosing the equipment is only the beginning. The result depends on how it all works together.
